Hmmm, doesn't look like it.

So, no one arrives from nowhere. The question now is, do I start writing something halfway interesting or do I start to gently market myself? And how do you do that in the networked world?

You know the expression content is king? I better start writing something worth reading. Then see what happens....

Give me a day or two.

I know you're there....

All I am asking is, if you read this, just comment briefly; yes I have discovered this. It is an experiment -- what happens if you create a blog but don't market it. If you build it, will they come?

Who Reads Things?

I've shied away from blogging, in fact I despise the very word. I have shied away from writing a blog for all the usual reasons, uppermost being time. But I'm reading Dave Cushman's excellent The Power Of The Network (he blogs here http://fasterfuture.blogspot.com), and he simply throws down the gauntlet: if you're not, you should be.

Okay, but there's a great button on blogger.com, "next blog". If you read a blog, you can click there and you hit a completely random blog. Usually in Spanish. And always -- always, so far for me -- without a single comment. Are they being read? Is this being read?
